BOMBAY RUN is a high-octane British action comedy set in Bombay.

When Rupert, an unassuming and bumbling English aristocrat on holiday, agrees to deliver a letter at the British High Commission in Bombay, as a favour for Ekbal, his charming and streetwise taxi driver, both men become prime suspects and targets for the police and gangsters respectively.

As they’re chased across the city of Bombay we learn that the taxi driver, Ekbal, had inadvertently come into possession of important information about "The Golden Circle", an Indian gangster syndicate branching out in Britain.

For a “finders fee”, Ekbal wanted to hand over the documents to the High Commission, but since the letter delivered by Rupert asked for a payment, it was instead assumed that they both were implicated with the gangsters. Now, the police and the gangsters race to get hold of the two men and the documents first.

A fantastic adventure unfolds where the cat and mouse chase takes Rupert and Ekbal on a journey of both danger and self-discovery.

In order to escape capture by their pursuers, they are using every mode of transport that can be found on the streets of Bombay such as: taxis, rickshaws, scooters, bicycles, trucks, pushcarts and even elephants.

They hardly have time to catch their breath and they realise that only by working together can they overcome the obstacles ahead and set the record straight. As a result they start to bond and eventually a deep friendship develops.
